I've finally made my decision...I'm going to be a Buckeye! While this has been a long, sometimes grueling process to get to this point, I'm happy and excited to think that I know where I'm going and I have a plan!
Thank you for all the support, advice, and prayer! I appriciate all of it so much.

Decision Time
Well, I've now visited both the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the Ohio State University in Columbus. The only thing left is to try to get my last questions for each school answered by email and to anxiously await the results of a financial competition at UMN. I have to make my decision for either place by April 15, but of course I've been pondering it quite a bit already. Please help me pray to make the right decision about where to go.
Thank you for all of your support!

I'm In!
It's real now...I've been accepted to graduate school! I sent out four applications, and I've received three responses. So far I've been accepted to (in order of response):
The University of Minnesota

Utah State University
The Ohio State University
I hope to hear from the final school, the University of Tennessee, sometime in early February. I'm going up to visit UMN in mid-February, hopefully I'll be able to see OSU in early March, and I don't know yet if I'll be able to make it to Logan to see USU again in the near future. It's already been interesting trying to balance all this with my last semester in my undergraduate schooling at USU, but I know I'll get through it. Please be praying for me to make a decision that will honor יהוה and that will set me up to be the best helper I can be. Thanks for all your support so far, and I'll keep you posted on the developments in the next few months!

Two Down, Two to Go
Well, I finally got my applications in for the first deadlines (December 1st--nothing like cutting it close!). I am now officially in the system for the University of Minnesota and Ohio State University. The other two that I'm applying for, Utah State University and University of Tennessee, aren't due until January and February, respectively, so I can stop stressing about them for a few weeks at least.
My advice to future graduate applicants: start early. REALLY early. Like nine months or more early. I think I've been researching schools since something like April, working on application materials since September, and actually been adding to specific applications for over a month, and I still felt like I was rushing.
I'm just happy to have these first applications out of my control. These two schools seem to be the most competitive, so I hope my applications stand up well. Anyhow you slice it, it's now in the hands of יהוה, so I'm happy.
