O-H-I-O

I've now been in Columbus for forty-eight hours, and it still doesn't quite seem real that this is my new home.  I did a lot of driving today and figured out the nearest grocery stores, banks, and place to get an Ohio driver's license eventually (that one was both accidental and ridiculous). I'm all moved in, and I have orientation on Monday (or maybe I should say orientations...four, or maybe it's five).  Things are exciting and scary, and overall I'm just trying my best to keep thinking about what I need to do today, right now, and how I can keep doing the next right thing.  Thank you so much to everyone who's been praying for me and supporting me through all of this!

It's Official!

I've finally made my decision...I'm going to be a Buckeye!  While this has been a long, sometimes grueling process to get to this point, I'm happy and excited to think that I know where I'm going and I have a plan!
Thank you for all the support, advice, and prayer! I appriciate all of it so much.

Decision Time

Well, I've now visited both the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the Ohio State University in Columbus.  The only thing left is to try to get my last questions for each school answered by email and to anxiously await the results of a financial competition at UMN.  I have to make my decision for either place by April 15, but of course I've been pondering it quite a bit already.  Please help me pray to make the right decision about where to go.

Thank you for all of your support!

I'm In!

It's real now...I've been accepted to graduate school!  I sent out four applications, and I've received three responses.  So far I've been accepted to (in order of response):

The University of Minnesota

Utah State University

The Ohio State University

I hope to hear from the final school, the University of Tennessee, sometime in early February.  I'm going up to visit UMN in mid-February, hopefully I'll be able to see OSU in early March, and I don't know yet if I'll be able to make it to Logan to see USU again in the near future.  It's already been interesting trying to balance all this with my last semester in my undergraduate schooling at USU, but I know I'll get through it.  Please be praying for me to make a decision that will honor יהוה and that will set me up to be the best helper I can be.  Thanks for all your support so far, and I'll keep you posted on the developments in the next few months!
